WELCOME

The Arab Community Centre of Toronto (ACCT) is a federally incorporated organization with a charitable status. It was established in 1972, incorporated in 1974 and is funded by Citizenship and Immigration of Canada, other levels of government and private donors, foundations and agencies.

The Centre is non-political and non-sectarian and is proud to be a focal point for the Arab and non-Arab communities where they can find an outlet for settlement and social services as well as other inquiries. We serve newcomers of all cultures, religions and ethnicities.

The Centre is governed by a Board of Directors elected annually by community members at the Annual General Meeting. Membership is open to Canadians of Arab origin and other interested in the Arab culture. The Executive Director manages the Centre with a professional and dedicated staff. The staff and board of directors of the Arab Community Centre of Toronto are reflective of the diversity of the Arab region, its religions, dialects and ethnic groups.
